LMI PUBLISHERS

Scholarly publishing built around visible systems.

LMI Publishers develops and supports scholarly publishing in health and related sciences. Our work extends beyond hosting journals: it includes editorial infrastructure, publication governance, research integrity, policy architecture, production systems and professional development.

JOURNAL PORTFOLIO

Our journals

Each journal has its own editorial identity, journal website, editorial team, submission workflow, published issues and operative policy pages. LMI provides publishing infrastructure and common governance architecture while journal editorial decisions remain within the appropriate editorial process.

PUBLISHING PRINCIPLES

A publisher's infrastructure should be inspectable.

Editorial governance

Roles, responsibilities, conflicts and editorial authority should be clearly defined.

Research integrity

Concerns about authorship, data, images, originality, peer review and the scholarly record require documented processes rather than improvised decisions.

Transparency

Journal identity, publisher identity, charges, licences, editorial processes and verified recognition or indexing information should be easy to locate and understand.

Durable scholarly record

Publication continues after an article goes online: metadata, identifiers, corrections, preservation and version control all form part of responsible publishing.

PUBLISHING POLICY FRAMEWORK

A controlled source for journal policy governance.

The LMI Publishing Policy Framework is maintained as a controlled master source rather than as independently edited copies scattered across multiple websites.

Each journal receives its own implementation using verified journal identity and approved journal-specific operational information. The resulting policy pages are published on that journal's own domain.

PUBLICATION INTEGRITY

Integrity extends across the publication lifecycle.

INDEPENDENT AUTHORITIES

External decisions remain external.

LMI can help a journal build stronger systems and prepare for evaluation. It cannot guarantee ISSN assignment, indexing, directory inclusion, recognition or any other decision made by an external authority.
