The LMI Publishing Policy Framework provides a consolidated source for editorial governance, publication ethics, research integrity and journal-policy management. It is maintained centrally for control and consistency while each journal publishes its operative implementation on its own website.

ABOUT THIS LMI FRAMEWORK

LMI is the publisher-level home of the framework, not a journal.

This website provides the publisher-level framework, its structure, document-control information and reference views. Where a policy governs the submission, review, publication or post-publication handling of content in an individual journal, the operative public version is published on that journal's own website.

Framework architecture

The final approved policy manual is the sole normative source for policy wording. This prototype exposes the approved architecture only; the full policy text will be ingested separately into the controlled policy engine.

DOCUMENT CONTROL

Policy changes must leave a record.

The framework will maintain controlled version metadata, approval/effective dates, review information and change history.

Normative policy files will be protected from routine CMS editing and checksum-verified before deployment. Version fields are intentionally not populated in this prototype until source-integrity metadata is reconciled without silently altering the approved master.
